I want to start off with saying that I am, by no means, a single mom. My husband is my teammate, my best friend, and my lover all wrapped into one. He is also the best father I could imagine for our son. Which is why I want to give a huge shout out to those women (Or men)  doing it all by themselves.

You see, my husband recently got back from a week-long business trip. And throughout that week I had a glimpse of what it was like to be a single parent.  I took care of our son as well as our two dogs. But during that time I did not work because I am a stay at home mom (for the most part) all made possible by m husband.

It wasn’t that the job of being a single parent was hard, it was just very tiring. And as I said I wasn’t even working. So I could not imagine what it is like for the single mom that takes care of her children as well as working full-time.  Each and every single one of you deserve an award.

Having my husband to not only support me in all that I do, listen to me complain, as well as love me unconditionally, is the most amazing feeling.

Being a single mother you hold all of that in and deal with that all by yourself. Along with the stress of being a parent and working. To be able to be so selfless and so independent is absolutely amazing.

This one is for all the single moms out there, you are all doing a hell of a job! You are all superheroes.
